Shaft-grouted bored pile – a practical engineering approach to the bearing capacity

Shaft grouting, a technique pioneered in offshore foundation applications, has proven to be an effective method for restoring side friction between bored piles and surrounding soil. This process involves injecting cement slurry through prefabricated steel tubes attached to the pile cage.

Thien An has developed a fully automated shaft grouting system successfully implemented in various Vietnamese projects. In parallel with on-site installations, comprehensive research was undertaken and published in a renowned international scientific journal.
 
On December 7, 2024, Taylor & Francis Journals featured Dr. Nguyen Cong Oanh and Nguyen Ngoc Trung's research on shaft-grouted bored pile technology in its esteemed Geotechnical Engineering Researches category.
